Explore a natural ice cave on this private guided tour from Vik. Board jeep in Vík and go off the beaten track into the Icelandic wilderness. Geared up in safety equipment, journey through a landscape of majestic mountains and glaciers toward the Katla Ice Cave. Strap on crampons and helmets to explore this natural phenomenon. Walk across the Mýrdalsjökull Glacier, situated below the Katla volcano.
Wander through the cave and marvel at spectacular color combinations of blue, gray and black, as I will tell You about the Kötlujökull glacier and the Katla ice cave’s formation.
